Thursday, Jan 18, the House of Representatives voted to create a
multi-billion dollar fund for new investment in clean energy by cutting
subsidies to Big Oil. This new funding will expand the use of clean
energy technologies like wind and solar power, while helping reduce our
dependence on oil.
Reps Baldwin, Kind, Moore, Petri and Kagen supported this bill. Reps. Sensenbrenner and Ryan voted against this bill.
