Thanks to the state Senate, Wisconsin is set to enact a statewide recycling program for old electronics. We'll keep thousands of tons of our old laptops and TVs -- and the toxic chemicals they contain -- out of our waterways.

Saving national forests

Thanks to our federation’s work, more than 1.5 million citizens nationwide called on the Clinton administration to protect pristine areas in our national forests, resulting in the Roadless Rule. When the Bush administration attempted to overturn the rule, we worked with governors in seven states to petition to protect their forests.

This bill will protect public health and our environment by keeping dangerous equipment out of landfills.
