Call for Global Warming Solutions
Global warming is an urgent problem with real consequences
for Wisconsin’s environment including our farms, forests and lakes.
That’s why Wisconsin Environment is working to set strong
science-based limits on global warming pollution statewide. We can do this and benefit economically by
using more homegrown, clean energy like wind and solar power and we can use
energy more efficiently.
Wisconsin Environment is urging our state Legislature
to adopt the Wisconsins Safe Climate Act (SB81). We know we can make this happen if we build enough public
support.
Call and ask for your Senator: 1-800-362-9472 Here's a sample message you can leave: “I am calling because I am concerned about the negative impacts of global
warming on Wisconsin [say more if you like], and I would like to urge my
Senator to support The Wisconsin Safe Climate Act (SB 81) and ask him/her to
make sure it gets a vote this week. ”
