This week we’ve been teaming up with dozens of organizations to make sure the U.S. Senate hears that Americans from all walks of life want to repower our nation with clean energy and stop global warming.   

Sen. John Kerry is currently crafting new clean energy and global warming legislation that could do just that.  But with the oil and coal industries lobbying harder than ever to block our progress, it’s up to us to make sure the Senate makes clean energy their top priority. 

We’ve been flooding Senate offices for a solid 72 hours, from March 2 through March 4, with calls from clean energy supporters like you from all across the country.  So many people have called, in fact, that office lines have been busy and voicemail boxes have been filling up.  So if you haven’t had a chance to make a call, it’s not too late – your senator needs to hear from you.  

Call the toll free number 1-877-9-REPOWER (1-877-973-7693).  You will be asked to enter your zip code, and from there you will be patched through to your senator's office to urge them to support comprehensive clean energy and global warming legislation.
